Pope Francis dies aged 88

Pope Francis has passed away, aged of 88.

The Vatican has confirmed he died from a stroke, following heart failure.

The Pope had been struggling with his health after recently catching pneumonia in both lungs in February, after suffering from a respiratory illness.
