BREAKING: Major crash on Eastern Freeway

One lane has reopened after a six car crash closed all lanes on the Eastern Freeway while emergency services attend the scene.

Andrew Crook from the Department of Transport told Neil Mitchell drivers should turn off the highway before Tram Rd.

“Middleborough road would be a good option or even back at Springvale road,” he said.
