Woman in critical condition after falling down embankment in Beaumaris

A woman in her 30s has fallen down an embankment near the water on Beach Road in Beaumaris this afternoon.

An ambulance chopper was on the scene assisting police, and the woman has been taken to hospital in a critical condition

Ambulance Victoria has released the following statement:

Ambulance Victoria was called to an incident in Beaumaris at around 1:15pm today.

A specialist Air Ambulance Victoria helicopter crew, Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance (MICA) paramedic crews are currently at the scene.

A woman in her 30s is being transported by road ambulance to The Alfred in a critical condition.
