Brothers accused of Geelong rape seek bail
Two relatives charged over the alleged gang rape of a 14-year-old girl in Geelong could be released on bail today.
A magistrate will hand down her decision today on whether Corio man Rowan Wild, 27, will be released on bail while facing rape and abduction charges.
Wild’s lawyer yesterday told court there was no evidence his client touched or raped the girl.
Brodie Wild, 20, is also expected to apply for bail today when he fronts the Melbourne Magistrates Court.
The alleged ringleader of the attack, Kevin Wild, and his brother Allan will face another hearing tomorrow.
The alleged attack happened on November 1.
