Brunswick Street public housing tower evacuated due to fire

Dozens of people have been evacuated after a fire alarm sounded at a public housing tower on Brunswick Street.

The MFB says there was a fire in a bin room of the Fitzroy complex.

It created a lot of smoke.

Paramedics also attended.
