Brussels bombers ‘escaped’ police raid
It’s believed the two suicide bombers in Brussels had escaped a police raid on a home via the back window last week.
Brothers Khalid and Ibrahim El-Bakraoui have been identified as responsible for the attacks in the airport and train station that killed at least 31 people.
Ibrahim was deported from Turkey last year, and Belgium authorities apparently ignored warnings he was a militant.
In a suicide note, Ibrahim wrote of how he feared he would soon be caught and be in a prison cell next to Paris attacker Salah Abdeslam.
Channel Nine Europe correspondent Tom Steinfort told Ross and John the brothers managed to escape a raid in Brussels last week in which four officers were injured and Abdeslam was arrested.

A third suspected terrorist, Najim Laachraoui, remains at large after being identified in security footage from Brussels airport.
