Buckingham Palace goes into lockdown

There has been a major security incident outside of Buckingham Palace, sending it into lockdown.

A man has been arrested after throwing suspected shotgun cartridges into palace grounds and police also seized a suspicious bag and are believed to have carried out a controlled explosion.

Loud noises could be heard on a broadcast outside.

King Charles wasn’t there at the time.

The incident occurred just hours after the King met with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese in London.
