‘Budgets are about choices’: Adam Bandt slams federal budget
Adam Bandt, federal leader of the Greens party, believes Labor is leaving people behind in poverty while they give billionaires a tax cut.
“The increase to the unemployment benefits payments is roughly $2.85 a day, it’s not even a loaf of bread, it still leaves people below the poverty line,” Mr Bandt told Tom Elliott.
The stage three tax cuts is expected to cost Australians a quarter of a trillion over the next decade.
