Bulldogs confirm Robert Murphy has ruptured his ACL
Western Bulldogs veteran Robert Murphy has ruptured his ACL.
Murphy left the field in agony late in Sunday’s loss to Hawthorn after twisting his knee in a marking contest.
Scans on Monday confirmed the worst news.
‘Bob’s scans have just come in and they do confirm that he has ruptured his ACL and he has some medial ligament damage as well,’ Bulldogs Football Manager Graham Lowe the club website.
‘We’re going to give Bob the next few days to consider his position, and his plans for moving forward.’
So many kind people out there… You’ve all brightened up a gloomy day. Thank you.
Too many sad songs on the radio today!
