Buyers advocate slams ‘pathetic’ taskforce investigating underquoting

Buyers Advocate at Morrell and Koren, David Morrell, has labelled the taskforce investigating underquoting as “pathetic”.

The taskforce was set up in September last year by the state government to have a look at unfair practices in the property market, which included underquoting.

“It’s pathetic, it’s had little success, in fact no one knows who they actually are,” Mr Morrell told Neil Mitchell.

CEO of the Real Estate Institute of Victoria, Quentin Kilian, claims underquoting of Victorian properties is an issue, but believes the scale of it is a bit exaggerated.
