Calder Freeway set to reopen in time for morning peak after truck crash
The Calder Freeway is set to reopen in time for this morning’s peak following a massive truck crash yesterday.
The semi-trailer crashed in Keilor on the Calder Freeway around 5pm, its trailer left dangling from the bridge over Green Gully road.
The driver wasn’t injured but the crash caused major delays, inbound lanes were closed through the night.
The truck was removed about 2am and inbound lanes have now reopened, with speed restrictions.
Several callers are reporting a four-car nose-to-tail on the Calder inbound, at the BP at Calder Park.
