Call for help after man seriously injured in violent attempted carjacking in St Albans
Police have released images of two men wanted over a violent attempted carjacking at St Albans which left a man with serious facial injuries.
The 47-year-old man was set upon while unlocking his car after paying for fuel at a petrol station on Main Road East on April 26.

A stranger forced him to the ground, kicking him in the head a number of times, and two other unknown males joined the offender assaulting the victim while he was down.
The group attempted to steal his car but were unsuccessful and ran away.
The victim was taken to hospital with serious facial injuries and a broken nose.
One man, a 24-year-old, has been charged as the hunt continues for the two other suspects. Police have released images of the pair and are appealing for information.
