Caller provides vivid account of ‘chaotic’ anti-Semitic attack at Israeli restaurant
A caller on 3AW has provided a vivid account of the “chaotic” scenes at an Israeli restaurant in the CBD on Friday night.
Debra was sitting outside at a restaurant along Hardware Lane when the anti-Semitic attack occurred, and told Tony Jones it looked like police “didn’t really know what they were supposed to do”.
“It was just chaos, absolute chaos,” Debra said on 3AW Mornings.

“Stuff was being thrown, glass was breaking, tables went over.”

“I think it’s really important the government and opposition and members of parliament stand up and just say this is not okay,” Battin told Tony Jones.
