Calls for more protection of schoolkids as concerning e-cigarette trend emerges
Children as young as eight are being offered e-cigarettes, and 10-year-olds are calling Quitline in tears.
It comes as a new education program is rolled out in years seven to ten to curb vaping among schoolkids.
VicHealth CEO Dr Sandro Demaio says the stories he’s hearing are frightening.

“We need to throw everything we have at protecting young people, but the laws need to be stricter and stronger and they need to be enforced,” Dr Demaio told 3AW Breakfast.
