Calls for the Airport Rail Link to be prioritised over the Suburban Rail Loop
The Victorian Opposition has called for the state government to prioritise the Airport Rail Link over the Suburban Rail Loop.
Deputy Opposition Leader and Shadow Minister for Transport Infrastructure, David Southwick, claims the Airport Rail Link has “magically fallen off the radar” and can be built for a third of the cost of the Suburban Rail Loop.
“Let’s do a project that benefits the whole state, not just one part of it,” Mr Southwick told Jimmy Bartel and Mark Allen, filling in for Ross and Russel.
