Calls to hit hoons in the hip pocket

There are calls for hoons to be forced to pay for damage they cause doing burnouts illegally.

Tom Elliott has mounted the same argument when it comes to graffiti vandals for many years, and Rod Barton, leader of the Transport Matters Party, said there was little difference with hoons.

“If you’re going to deface things, then you’ve got to be held responsible for the cleaning up of it,” he said.
