Calls to scrap ‘outdated’ fixed price contracts in construction

The recent collapse of Porter Davis sent a tremor through Australia’s construction industry and rightly so, experts have warned.

They say Porter Davis won’t be the last to go under, with more troubles on the way.

Michaela Lihou, Interim CEO of Master Builders Association of Victoria, told 3AW Drive fixed price contracts had become largely become outdated and unworkable in the current market.
