Calls to wipe out Phillip Island’s feral cat population

MML

There’s a bid to make Philip Island a pest-free zone by wiping out the feral cat population.

The penguin population has boomed to more than 30,000 in recent years, but according to the Herald Sun, feral cats continue to pose a threat.

Under the plan, owners would also be forced to keep their cats indoors.
