Campbellfield factory on Sydney Road destroyed by fire

A car parts factory at Campbellfield in Melbourne’s north has been destroyed by fire.

The huge blaze broke out on Thursday night.

More than a dozen fire crews were called to the Sydney Road building around 8.45pm and were met with a wall of flames.

The cause of the blaze is yet to be determined.

The damage bill is expected to top $3 million.
