Canberra Airport introducing international flights

Canberra airport is gearing up to introduce international flights, happening on September 21.

Managing Director of Canberra Airport Stephen Byron explained to Ross Greenwood changes to the airport, which Singapore Airport is labelling as the ‘Capital Express’.

‘We’ve always said Australia’s capital ought to have international flights,’ he told Ross Greenwood.

He expects a third of customers to be for business, however the rest will be for leisure and tourism.
