Cancelled flight results in a ruined birthday party for disabled son

A family says they were forced to fork out hundreds to secure a hotel after Jetstar cancelled their flight over the weekend.

Sarah says her family flew up to Sydney from Melbourne to celebrate her son’s birthday.

“There was a storm, the storm cleared up but Jetstar diverted our flight to Canberra, and our 9:45 departing time plane was cancelled at 10:21,” she told Tony Moclair.
