Car dumped and set alight on the Monash Freeway

A car has been dumped and set alight on the Monash Freeway at Chadstone at 7:30pm last night.

Police have been told there were three youths seen running from the car and jumping the freeway barriers heading off towards Malvern train station.
The car was a 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer and it’s also believed the car was stolen.
