Car fire on Mt Martha beach

Fire crews are at the scene of a huge car fire on the beach in Mount Martha.

A bystander sent photos of the blaze to 3AW Breakfast showing the vehicle engulfed in flames.

The cause of the fire and how the car ended up on the beach is unclear.

Meanwhile, another photo has emerged of a car fire in Manifold Heights this morning.

The cause of that blaze is also undetermined.
