Car hits fire hydrant sending water into the sky at Hoppers Crossing

A car has knocked over fire hydrant at Hoppers Crossing sending water soaring more than 15 metres into the air.

3AW listener Phil sent in photos and a video of the gusher to Neil Mitchell.

Neighbours can be seen looking on helplessly while a cars drive through the mess.

There have been no reports of injuries.
