Car set alight in horror road rage incident

A motorcyclist has chased down a driver and set him on fire in Epping.

Police say the attack happened after the pair almost collided on Narina Way at about 8pm last night.

The motorcyclist threw flammable liquid on the car before lighting a rag and throwing it at the victim as he was trying to flee.

The victim, a 19 year-old Lalor man, suffered minor burns.

A resident from a nearby property came onto the street and the offender fled.

The offender remains on the run.
