Car v bike: 18-year-old fighting for life after Tooradin crash

An 18-year-old woman is fighting for life after a motorbike crash in Tooradin last night.

The bike was travelling along the shoulder of the South Gippsland Highway before moving into the left lane where it was struck by a vehicle.

The 16-year-old rider sustained non-life-threatening injuries and an 18-year-old woman, who was his passenger, is in a critical condition.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured and is assisting police.

Anyone with dashcam footage of the incident is urged to contact police.
