Carlton has “absolutely no ceiling” on success in 2018
Carlton coach Brendan Bolton says he’s “done what our members have asked for” in his approach to the 2018 season.
Speaking on Sportsday, Bolton said his players preparing for a successful season despite the blow of losing Sam Docherty this preseason.
“This year is about having absolutely no ceiling,” Bolton said.
“I’ve never heard our players more passionate including Murph, Cripps, Simpson and Docherty.
“We want to climb and we want to climb quickly.”
The loss of Docherty has put the spotlight on number of players to fill his spot, including Aaron Mullett, Jack o’Shea and Ciaran Byrne.
“What’s happened there is it has made our back half more determined to fill that hole,” he said.
