Caroline Wilson calls out three footy figures for swearing on live TV

Caroline Wilson has called out the AFL for not acting after several players and coaches swore on live broadcasts during the first week of finals.

Nick Daicos and Mabior Chol dropped the F-bomb in post-match interviews on Thursday and Saturday, while Collingwood coach Craig McRae also swore after his side’s match.

Caro told 3AW Afternoons that overall standards “are being lowered” if swearing is now being accepted as commonplace in football coverage.

“I think we need to call it out and draw attention to it,” she told Tony Moclair.

“Everyone’s standards are being lowered.”
