Caroline Wilson details ‘gross’ encounter with Don Burke at The Logies

Trailblazing AFL journalist Caroline Wilson has detailed a disturbing encounter she had with disgraced former TV host Don Burke at the 1996 Logies.

Wilson, who announced on Tuesday she’d be stepping down as chief football writer at The Age, told Neil Mitchell the former Channel 9 host made the comment while she was pregnant.

He asked if he could lick her back.

“It was just a really gross thing to say,” Caroline told Neil Mitchell.
