Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley is in ‘a lot of trouble’ according to Caroline Wilson.

The 3AW Football commentator joined Neil Mitchell on Tuesday to speak about the Pies’ woes.

She said pressure had never been greater on Buckley.

‘I think for the first time, the members are rumbling,’ Wilson said on 3AW Mornings.

‘The members are doubting Bucks and are asking the question ? ‘why did we sack a coach who took us to a premiership and then a grand final?’

‘Admittedly, Mick Malthouse failed at Carlton and maybe it was time for him to go but, right now, the succession plan is looking like a complete failure.’

Wilson also dismissed comments from Collingwood president Eddie McGuire, in which he expressed frustration about the impact of equalisation on his club.

‘It’s embarrassing,’ she said.

‘They are one of the three wealthiest clubs in the AFL.

‘They have the best facilities in the AFL, they get players because they are Collingwood and because the offer the best setup in the AFL.

‘What has gone wrong at Collingwood has been entirely the fault of the Collingwood football club and nobody else.’
