‘Cash and weapons’: Contents of dangerous driver’s vehicle revealed

A taser has been deployed in a dangerous driving arrest last night in Flemington.

Officers responded to reports of a Subaru driving erratically on its rims at around 8:30pm yesterday evening.

Speaking on 3AW Breakfast, Victoria Police Media Officer Katherine McLeod said that when officers searched the vehicle, they found and seized a jerry can, a baton and OC spray.

The 31-year-old is expected to be interviewed later this morning.

The arrest is not connected to ‘Operation Eclipse’.
