Casual wear hitting the workplace

We go through our youth years wearing uniforms at school.

Once we hit the workforce, we are given the option to pick and choose our attire.

Tom Elliott believes the professional suit and tie at work is dying, now being replaced by more casual wear.

SEEK spokesperson Sarah Macartney told 3AW Drive smart casual attire has increased.

‘Most smart casual workplaces still have a bit of an overriding policy that it’s got to be deemed appropriate,’ Sarah said.
