‘Catastrophic failure’ from government on vape policy driving black market

It’s claimed just one in ten vapes bought in Australia have been acquired through the prescription model, according to the CEO of the Australian Association of Convenience Stores.

Retail leaders and cancer experts say the black market trade is rife, calling on the federal government for action.

“It is absolute chaos,” Theo Foukkare said on 3AW Drive.

“We have a catastrophic failure in the previous federal government’s policy that is driving the black market.”
