Police are investigating two rams in Melbourne’s north.

The first incident took place at a bottle shop on Watsonia Road in Watsonia just after 1.30am on Monday.

It is believed a vehicle was used to smash into the business with a quantity of cash and liquor stolen before the offenders fled.

CCTV has been released of that incident.

The second incident took place at a bottle shop on Plenty Road in Bundoora about 1.45am.

It’s believed a vehicle was again used to smash into the store but they were unable to get inside and fled in the car.

The description of the vehicle is a dark-coloured twin cab Toyota Hilux or similar with at least two occupants.

Both businesses were closed at the time and no one was injured.

Anyone with any information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or submit a confidential crime report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
