CFA firefighter opens up on ‘anger’ and ‘disappointment’ amid new government tax

Volunteer firefighter says for the government to hit farmers with new levy whilst they are facing a drought, makes it “even worse”.

CFA firefighters are set to hold a protest on the steps of Parliament House on Tuesday, in response to the new farmer levy. 

Firefighter Peter Shield, spoke to Tom Elliot about the “anger” and “disappointment ” the community is feeling.
