CFA volunteers to rally against controversial emergency services levy

CFA volunteers are set to gather in Bendigo this weekend to rally against Jacinta Allan’s controversial emergency services levy.

President of the CFA Volunteers Joshua Houston says it’s not fair that the volunteers helping to fight fires are set to be taxed more.

“They’re the ones that do the work, yet they’ve got to pay the lion’s share of the levy, and half of them have got to supply their own equipment,” he told Ross and Russel.
