Jacqui Felgate

CFMEU leader John Setka has been labelled a “bully” after launching a threat towards the AFL’s umpires boss Stephen McBurney.

McBurney – who used to work as a building watchdog – was accused by the union boss of being anti-worker, with Setka threatening to slow down building projects the AFL is associated with.

“John Setka is behaving like a bully,” 3AW Drive host Jacqui Felgate said.

“Mr Setka is very good at getting a good deal for him members – he’s finishing up in the role in a couple of months so I wonder if all of this is part of a farewell tour.”
