Chainsaws stolen from Fire Management vehicles

Chainsaws have been stolen after six Forest Fire Management vehicles were broken into.

The incident happened at Bairnsdale.

The Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning confirmed the news with 3AW Breakfast.

They’ve reported the matter to police.

The chainsaws have already been replaced, ensuring no impact on the crew’s firefighting activities.
