Challenges remain for budget

Economic growth numbers are stronger than anticipated, but not enough for the budget to give itself enough boost for repair.

Treasurer Scott Morrison and Shadow Treasurer Chris Bowen have indicated the economic growth is fragile.

Chris Richardson from Deloitte Access Economics says it is due to ‘a bunch’ of challenges which remain.
