‘Chaos’ at Melbourne Airport as check in system crashes

There are reports of a major outage causing “chaos” at Melbourne Airport.

Barney, who is at the airport, told Tom Elliott no one is able to check in for international flights.

Melbourne Airport spokesperson Andrew Lund says an Australian Border Force outage is to blame.

“We understand it’s a nation-wide outage,” he told Tom Elliott.

Check in for international flights is still happening, but it’s “a lot slower” than usual.
