Chappell, McGrath discuss substitutes wearing the baggy green

Glenn McGrath says the baggy green cap a substitute fielder wears is different to the one given to players officially selected.

During the first session, it was noticed Australia’s substitute fielder Luke Robins was wearing a cap which looked very similar to the traditional baggy green.

“It is not a genuine baggy green, it might be an Australian A one,” Glenn McGrath said.

But Ian Chappell thinks if you have played a test match in the past, you are entitled to wear the proper cap.

“You wear a cap that you have earnt.”
