Chief Health Officer shares the latest as second gastro outbreak linked to Albert Park venue

About 140 people have come down with gastroenteritis after two separate events at The Park Melbourne.

Seventy medical professionals came down with suspected food poisoning after a conference dinner, and a further 70 people became ill after a wedding at the same venue.

Chief Health Officer, Dr Clare Looker, says cases from both events have “ticked up” over the last couple of days, and a “small number” of people have been hospitalised.
