Child dies in house fire at Dandenong

A child has died in a house fire in Melbourne’s southeast.

The body of a small child was located in a home in Dandenong just before 8am this morning.

Several other people who were in the townhouse at the time were treated for non life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
