WATCH: Driver flees after hitting a child on a bike

Dash cam footage has captured the moment a child on his bike was hit by a car in Bendigo, as the driver flees the scene.

Amanda Franks posted the video of the incident on Facebook.

She told Tom Elliott her son Blair luckily only suffered some minor bruising.

“I was sick to the stomach,” Amanda said.

“It broke my heart.”

Amanda said it was “disgusting” that the driver fled the scene.

“I wouldn’t do that to an animal, let alone a person or a child,” she said.
