Three teens have been arrested after allegedly threatening children with a crowbar in Melbourne’s north this morning.

Police have confirmed the teenagers were arrested after allegedly trying to evade police in a stolen car.

The initial call came from Charlton Crescent, Reservoir just after 9am with reports of three men – armed with a crowbar – threatening people.

It’s believed those people were Reservoir High School Students, walking to swimming lessons at the local leisure centre.

The vehicle was then tracked to Greenbelt Avenue Preston, behind Northland Shopping Centre, where it was dumped and the occupants tried to run away.

Police arrested three teens who are being questioned over a range of incidents, in the last 24 hours.
