Christian Petracca’s father opens up about his son’s life-threatening injury

It’s been a long journey of ups and downs for Demon superstar Christian Petracca, reaching his 200th game milestone on Sunday afternoon at the MCG.

The 2021 Norm Smith Medallists’ father Tony Petracca joined 3AW Football and said it was a “nerve wracking” time for the family.

“As anybody who goes through an injury like that they tend to see things outside the circle,” Tony Petracca said,

“I think it’s made him aware of what the perception is and sometimes it’s a privilege to play the game.”
