More than 260,000 homes and businesses are still without power with Melbourne’s east and south-east being the worst hit areas.

Yesterday’s severe weather smashed six transmission towers near Geelong, knocking out Loy Yang A, Victoria’s largest biggest coal powered station.

CitiPower and Powercor CEO Tim Rourke has provided a timeline for when he hopes power will be restored to households and businesses across the state.
