The City of Port Philip is optimistic this summer’s St Kilda Festival will go ahead next February, but concede it will look different to normal.

Local Mayor, Louise Crawford, said events and concerts would be spread out over multiple days in a COVID-safe manner.

“Nothing has been locked in,” she said.

As for mandatory vaccinations to attend…

“It wouldn’t be a decision we could make, I don’t think, but that could be the way of the future,” Cr Crawford said.
