City of Yarra backs report into prevalence of giant trucks as councillor reveals suspicion over potential parking fee hike

The City of Yarra have asked for a report into the dangers of heavy utility vehicles on Yarra Streets but one councillor has revealed his suspicions over the parking fee hike.

City of Yarra councillor, Stephen Jolly, says he wants the facts when it comes to the prevalence of giant trucks and says there would need to be exceptions to the parking fee hike.

“Whatever we do, there would have to be exceptions because the council approved large scale high rise developments in the city of Yarra,” he told Tom Elliott.
