City of Yarra launches ‘little green woman’

The pedestrian light at Bridge road and Bosisto street now features the silhouette of a woman.

The switch, announced by Yarra Council back in March, will be in place for 12 months.

The woman depicted is Mary Rogers, Victoria’s first female councillor.

3AW Drive producer Alyssa Allen said only two people she spoke to noticed the change.
